We are back after a major upgrade!
The web needed the major re-doing so here we go. Still it's not perfect, and there are some things still in progress, but at least - and for a time - we have web which we are quite satisfied with. As you can see, there is one fundamental and important change. I really wanted to print the 4th issue of Defiance and finally to give you a real magazine - not gonna happen, unfortunately, well...at least not now. We have discarded the PDF netmag for a while, the reason is - we cant get all the stuff in time :( people are busy, we are busy, there is always something. So its gonna be a webmag...DEFIANCE webmagazine...welcome.

In the underground politically incorrect music scene there are probably not so many people as known as JFN, the head of Darker Than Black Records, and yes, the original drummer of infamous German act Absurd. Focused on quality, one just can't skip this important label, whether you really like the extreme music or not. Although some fanfares would be indeed appropriate, I can't play them, so without wasting any more time, let's welcome JFN...
NAAE interview
Norway, land of fjords and a treasure of underground music. It's always a pleasure to find an artist overlooked by many and to introduce some still not-so-usual cultural inputs to the readers of Defiance magazine. More so, if the artist is not only talented musically, but also brings out the visual dimension of the music. And although music is no longer “the male thing”, it's always inspiring to find an unusually interesting female artist...so without any further prolonged comments, let me welcome Elenyx!
Major Disappointment interview

Zerivana interview
Do you know the feeling...you don't know something..and just stumble upon it. In the case of Zerivana it's not the case :-) I'm glad Wojtek gave me a shout, so Defiance can present you a nice piece of ambient music here! And I wouldn't say "dark ambient" and rightfully so...this music makes you ....definitely not sad.
